Buying a Television? Considered a Combi TV?

Love Television, Love DVDs…

Come on, admit it… Who doesn’t love watching their Television in their own bedroom? Watch what you want, when you want and not have to wrestle your mates in your flat or house for the remote. Sounds great doesn’t it until you realise that without Cable or Satellite TV hooked upto the Television, you’re pretty much stuck with watching Freeview!!

You may have even considered a Television and a DVD player so you can than at least take your collection of DVDs with you to watch or even buy a few more along the way if that student loan is burning a hole in your pocket. Thing is though, it’s a massive chore having to remember to take both remotes for the Television and the DVD player. Then there is the cables you need to plugin between the two of them and well, you get the picture… But what if there was another way?

Well there is… Combi TVs!

Cool you’re thinking, Combi TVs!? That’s great! But there is just one problem right? You have no idea what  Combi TV is? Well sit yourself back and keep reading about this uber cool Television…

A Combi TV is a Television that comes with a built-in DVD player all-in-one and best of all, because the DVD player is built-in, you don’t need an additional DVD player, remote, extra cables or an additional plug socket! So that’s one TV remote to work the Television and the DVD player, no more scrabbling for two remotes just to get your favourite DVD playing. Turn it on, press play and you’re away, all from one Remote.

You’re no doubt expecting these Combi TVs to be heavier than regular Televisions, maybe even bigger than them too but this is the great thing about them. They’re about the same size and weight as regular LCD Televisions so you probably wont even notice that the slot in the side of the Television, let alone the fact that it can play all your favourite DVDs. Oh and don’t worry about them coming in really small sizes that mean you need to sit within 3 feet of the Television to see anything. They come in a range of sizes from a tiny 10inch screen right upto an impressive 32inch screen size so there should be a screen size to suit everybody’s needs. The big brand names you associate with LCD Televisions are nearly all missing except Toshiba, Samsung and Sony. Don’t ask us why the other brands haven’t jumped on board with Combi TVs, they’re really popular amongst people buying extra Televisions for bedrooms and spare rooms, oh and even Caravans and Mobile Homes. For anyone that doesn’t yet have a Blu-Ray player or has an Xbox 360 rather than a Playstation 3 and yearns for a Blu-Ray player, you’re in look because Sony install Blu-Ray players in their Combi TVs which are capable of playing DVD and Blu-Ray films so you wont need to feel like you’re being left behind technology wise.
